I've been in survival mode, navigating through a whirlwind of changes. To protect my mental well-being, I've focused on maintaining my weight rather than losing it. It's essential to prioritize mental health sometimes, without using it as an excuse to gain weight.
Learning from past mistakes, I'm proud to have successfully maintained my weight, keeping a 70-pound loss. I'm just 33.3 pounds away from reaching the 200s, aiming to hit my 100-pound weight loss by the end of 2024 - a challenge with the upcoming holiday season approaching. But a challenge I accept!
Although the holidays will be different this year due to my husband's demanding job, I cherish the importance of family over traditions. My family, including my son and stepchildren, motivates me to continue my health journey.
Despite recent physical pain, I am awaiting test results next Thursday, hoping for treatment options. This could shift my focus back to my weight loss journey. Regardless of the outcome, I remain determined to progress with my health, which is why I am committing my New Year’s Resolution to you today!
